Doug Jentzsch has fifteen years of experience in marketing, sales, and management. He is the Marketing Director for Geomni, an aerial imagery and data analytics company, headquartered in Utah’s Silicon Slopes tech region. Doug came to Geomni from their sister-company Xactware solutions – both are Verisk Analytics businesses. Views expressed on his blog, or via his social media channels are his own.

Doug’s prior experience includes working as Director of Marketing for Blendtec, a consumer goods company. He also spent ten years at Access Development holding multiple positions with the majority of his time as Director of Partnership Marketing over the Rewards division. This role allowed the opportunity to hire, coach, and mentor a division of fifteen employees.

He also spent two seasons as Assistant G.M. and Marketing Manager for the Utah Warriors Professional Indoor Football team. There he managed marketing, media relations, ticket sales and contributed to sponsorship sales and fulfillment.

Internationally Doug has worked in Brazil as an English instructor and translator. For a short period of time, he even dabbled in importing leather goods from South Africa.

Doug earned his MBA from Westminster College with a Graduate Certificate in Marketing. He has a Bachelor’s of Science with a sociology emphasis, from Utah Valley University. Thus, the fascination with both marketing and what motivates people to do what they do.

He lives with his wife and four children in Utah.
